During this challenging time, it’s important to maintain social connections, eat healthy foods to maintain strong immunity and check in with loved ones or elders in your community. Here are some handy online services to help make this period a little easier.
Home Medicine Services are available for people in isolation that have their Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme and Repatriation Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme prescriptions delivered to their home from their regular pharmacy.
Food Delivery – If you jump onto the website of your favourite restaurant or café you will notice many are offering unique takeaway, home delivery or drive through options. It’s a great way to avoid contact with others, make life easier for you in the home, and also support the local businesses doing it tough.
Social Media can be a great tool for maintaining social connections as they help connect you with friends and loved ones. Platforms like Facebook and Instagram enable you to share daily photos, updates and videos. YouTube is another great resource for online tutorial videos, educational tools to assist with home schooling and don’t forget the fabulous cooking tutorials to help pass the time.
